tedfrelke
I went through hell updating my HX Stomp to 3.15 but it seems to be better now. Though I'm still having trouble getting my SP1L6 to work properly. As a volume pedal, it will show the parameter rising and falling on the Stomp but the sound is not actually reduced (no effect) When I bring up a wah, it won't register the pedal at all. Has anyone else had issues with this? Thanks.
rd2rk
The most consistent way I've found to do this is to add both your Volume and Wah, then whichever one is operating the POSITION parameter, turn that one ON using HX Edit or the bypass button on the HXS (NOT the Toe Switch) and turn the other one OFF the same way. Now when you operate the Toe Switch it should work properly and you can save the preset with whichever one you want to be ON by default when the preset loads. tedfrelke
Thank you! I should add that I have a separate single switch for FS4 that I use as the Tap/Tuner.
rd2rk
To use the SP1-L6 properly the Toe switch uses the RING and the EXP Pedal uses the TIP, so you can't use an additional switch. IIRC, Morningstar(?) makes a single MIDI FS that can be used for Tap Tempo.

tedfrelke
So to get back on topic, my SP1-L6 is registering on the Stomp since the parameter changes when I move it. The issue is with the Stomp not actually affecting the sound. I've tried switching around all the tip/ring switch settings and it's still not working. Thanks again for any help. theElevators
There are known bugs with 3.15 regarding bypassing of blocks. I had to downgrade to 3.11. So if you started seeing different behavior after upgrading to 3.15, that's no surprise. If you don't touch anything and simply upgrade, you will have no issues. If you start messing with different presets' bypass settings, you may have completely unusable buggy presets. The topic (below), page 60 has people describing various issues. If I were Line 6, I'd issue a hot fix immediately for it. But alas, it's been several months and it's still in the backlog.
rd2rk
The effect that the Exp Pedal is assigned to has to be ON, which is what the Toe Switch does. If you assign both Bypass and Position to the exp pedal it will toggle ON/OFF at 5% (default).
tedfrelke
I rolled back to 3.11 and got everything working again. I don't care if L6 comes out with handjob mode. I'm never updating again.

rd2rk
And since the vast majority of us have had no problems with 3.15, we don't care if YOU never upgrade again! Seriously, it's only a dud for SOME of you. For the rest of us it's the best update EVER and we are SO looking forward to 3.2 with the promised BEST SONIC IMPROVEMENTS YET!
