G10 System Charging Issue

Hi guys.

I recently purchased a second Line 6 G10 system (G10T transmitter and receiver dock) the first one i purchased has been fantastic, so i thought i would purchase another for my amps in another area of the house.

The issue i am having with the newest one is that once the receiver has charged fully in the dock, it flashes green? and then going to use it i only have about 30 minutes of charge? This is after charging it up overnight.

My other one doesnt flash green, it stays a solid green once charged. So there must be an issue with my new one. Does anyone have any fixes for this issue please?

If it's flashing green isnt fully charged. Just leave it alone until it's solid green. First charge can be long.

if it's an old model, not the new GT10II, then could be it has the last firmware, that screw up the battery charge, and there is nothing you can do.

My older g10t suddenly will not hold a charge any longer than 10 minutes.  Until about a month ago, it would hold a charge for at least 2 hours or more.  Will updating the firmware correct this issue.  I have never updated the firmware previously.

How old is it? I imagine the battery is just kaput. It will eventually happen to lithium ion batteries.
