vincentm77
Hi everyone, I installed the latest Line 6 HX Stomp Driver2 (Version 1.97.0.2) for Windows 10. When I try to start a recording session on Ardour, the HX Stomp is recognized, I can select the drive ASIO... but then when I start the session Ardour crashes... Has anybody have any issues with the HX Stomp, a DAW on Windows and the latest driver(s) ? Thanks Vincent
DunedinDragon
If you only installed the driver the question is whether that driver is compatible with your version of Stomp firmware. Ideally, the appropriate driver for any version of firmware is installed with the firmware. If they're not in sync there's no predicting what might happen. Thanks Vincent In the previous driver there was a bug crashing Cakewalk, that they fixed in the latest version (which is the one you have installed). This means could be there is another one crashing Ardour. You should report it in the bug section, and maybe open a support ticket. For now seems working fine with Ableton, but each DAW has its own code to call and use the ASIO drivers. MarcoVP
I have a typical kind of problem. Installed all drivers on W11. I am using Reaper or Ableton Live 11 Lite. I can select de Asio and the HX Stomp, but on Reaper there's nog channels to be shown. In Ableton I get a pop ur error saying the driver is not working.
