a6strng
When using the pitch wham block it works great using headphones. I only hear the new tuning assigned. All the different tunings I assign to a snapshot work great. When i connect the helix to an external speaker cabinet I hear both the standard tuning combined with the pitch assigned. what a garbled mess! very strange, but someone here may know the culprit. Thanks
silverhead
The culprit is physics. Without headphones you are hearing the natural vibrations of the standard-tuned strings. Your ears are only a foot or two away from the strings and they are able to hear this. Your headphones block it. If you don’t want to hear this without headphones you will need to turn your speakers (way) up until the volume overpowers the natural vibrations. brue58ski
This is so true. I have had my speakers up to what I think is a good level with the guitar digitally retuned and the sound from the in standard tuning guitar, will still mess with me. Just happened to me a couple of days ago.
