HX Stomp reamp question

Hi,

 

Is there a way to reamp with the stomp without hearing the DI signal ?

Reamping works great, but when I try to adjust the preset on the stomp, I always hear the DI signal (which makes sense, otherwise no reamp) in the background.

Since the reamp is all done via USB, I wonder if there is a way to only hear the reamped processed signal ?

Try turning off the track’s Software Monitoring feature in Reaper.

It's already OFF, I can still hear the DRY track, unless I mute it. But if I mute it, the reamp doesn't work.

DI USB reamp channels are 5 and 6.

 

To avoid hearing the dry from HX Stomp, add a volume block and set it to minimum. This way you should only hear the DI passing through the DAW without the dry signal passing through the preset.
