charlesian2000
Hi Guys, The A string and only the A string is fuzzy. I brought my second hand Variax 300 out of storage, now that I have time to play it. Tuned it … check. A string is fuzzy… damn. Before I start doing something crazy. Could it just be the A string itself? That’s part one. Part two is there is no sound if I choose the battery pack option. Is this normal? Any help is greatly appreciated.
psarkissian
Sounds like it's fretting out, saddle may need a height adjust. Have the set-up checked by an authorized tech. https://line6.com/find/service_center/

charlesian2000
Fixed it. Noticed that the A string was skew, released the tension, straightened the spring, changed the string, all good.
psarkissian
Service center for a check up on set-up and maybe electronics (like maybe a failing piezo).

It’s working perfectly fine, but if it happens again I would need to find a service centre in Australia.
