kimx0355
Hi HX Stomp users. I like to be in snapshot mode and stack the snapshots, so I only use Fs1 + Fs2 to shift between them. My plan was then to use Fs3 as “tuner/tap tempo”. I only want to use tap tempo on one of the 3 snapshots, BUT when I set the delay time to “1/4” instead of a fixed delaytime to achieve that, all snapshots are with tap tempo and the “1/4”-setting. Is there a way out of that? In “preset mode” it`s no problem, but I don`t want the time-gap when changing presets. Best regards Kim
cglaser68
I actually just noticed this as well recently. I've tried to set up two snapshots on the same delay pedal (Simple Delay), with one snapshot being set to a fixed time (380ms) and the other snapshot to use it at 120 BPM and 1/8 notes. But as soon as I change one of the snapshots to fixed time, the other change to use fixed time and if I change one to use BPM with 1/8 notes, the other then changes to use BPM and 1/8 notes as well. I have the time parameter on both snapshots set to use the snapshot controller. I also tried setting the BPM to 'Per Snapshot' as opposed to 'Per Preset' but that didn't change the behavior. I was able to get around it by just adding a second delay stomp to the signal path, and bypassing the delay stomp I don't need in each snapshot, but I'm wondering , am I doing something wrong, or is this a restriction in the Helix Snapshot capabilities. phil_m
You can’t change the delay time from a note value to a millisecond value per snapshot. That’s a preset setting. You can change the note value per snapshot if you want, though. You can also change the tempo per snapshot if you want.
theElevators
You can set your tap tempo values per snapshot, so you can simply switch to a snapshot and change the tap tempo as needed. Re-enter the snapshot and the tap tempo is as you saved it. Additionally you can have 2 delay blocks -- one with BPMs, the other with millisecond values. One snapshot will use the delay block with BPMs, the other with ms: bypass/unbypass the 2 blocks as needed in your snapshots.
