SLokos
I'm using catalyst edit on Android tablet (Samsung A8). It works with my Catalyst 60 amp. When I download new presets from the tone Marketplace it goes into the Download folder, like all downloads, but the Catalyst edit does not see anything in the download folder and I cant load the new pesets into cat edit. Anyone have this problem or a fix?

Anyone have this problem or a fix? You mean Customtone, right? Because I don't see any Catalyst presets in the Marketplace... Do the presets you're downloading have the file extension .catl6p? Do the presets you're downloading have the file extension .catl6p? Yes Customtone. It says Marketplace on my tablet but it is Customtone. The download does have the .catl6p extension. I did figure out a work around. I connect the tablet to my PC desktop via usb and using file manager I can move the preset file from the download folder to the cat edit data folder. Then the new preset can be seen and loaded into cat edit, then into the amp. Although that works, it is cumbersome. I would think that the Android version of cat edit should be able to see the preset file in the download folder since that is where it ends up when you download it. Anyone have this problem or a fix? You have to move your preset from download folder on your tablet and place it in: Andorid>data>com.line6.catalystedit>files>Line 6 Catalyst>Presets. Install some better file manager than Samsung's default and make shortcut for Cat's presets folder to quickly move files there

I still think it's a bit cumbersome and the cat edit should be fixed to see the file in the download folder without having to use a separate step. That should be basic functionality and I hope they fix it. Until then I will use your suggestion and thank you again.

Anyone have this problem or a fix? Hi Slokos, Glad to see you got yours working. I have a Galaxy Tab A7 and can not get the Edit app to work at all. Did you have any trouble or know of any tricks? Thanks

Where exactly do I see all those subfolders of Android>data>etc>......line6 catalyst>presets? To copy them into? Thanks

Thanks You will have to install some files manager to do this and yes, copy your preset to that folder. But there is a problem. With Android 13 update, access to data folder has been restricted. Right now I don't know any workaround. It seems little complex. So it sucks. Looks like using Cat with android is very limited now :( Probably a PC or Ipad is better choice
zliefer
First, download the Presets you want. If you see an eyeball, turn your phone horizontally and select the Download button. To access and copy Custom Tone Presets on Android XX, where the default restricted file manager prevents folder access, download FV File Explorer. This file manager grants access to restricted folders such as /Android/Data/*, including Catalyst Backups and Presets. It allows you to copy, move, delete, and manage files easily. The full path on my Android: /Android/data/com.line6.catalystedit/files/Line 6 Catalyst/[Backup][Presets] Updated March 05, 2025
