ninecows
Running 13.5.2 Ventura on an iMac 27, 2020 intel. Helix floor is firmware 3.60.0 and HX Edit is 3.62 I have a scarlet focusrite 18i8 and the Helix floor set up as an aggregated device in midi/audio. I can change clock setting on the focusrite, but not on the Helix. The option to change clock is greyed out and locked to 48kHz. On the Helix it self I can change clock rate to 44.1 and all the other options, but on the Mac it seems like it stays at 48 regardless of what settings I'm making. Under the aggregated device I can of course change the clock source to the focusrite, but it seems like the helix is not really paying attention to this. So basically I'm stuck at 48 kHz it seems. I read some old thread from 2018 that MacOS privacy and security settings was blocking the Helix driver, but that you could remove that blocking. Since then it seems like Apple has become even more paranoid so I can't even unblock it. That setting is not there any more for us pesky normal users to change. Anyone else seeing the same? SaschaFranck
Do you have the drivers installed as well? It's not required under macOS, "plain" CoreAudio is even allowing for lower latencies, but from what I remember, things such as multiple samplerate support would only work well with the driver installed. 1

Hi, RE: HELIX DRIVER FOR MAC OS - From the Line6 Helix Driver 2 v.1.5.0 released October 2021 download page. ”This driver adds support for Apple Silicon systems (M1 and greater). This driver is for macOS 11 Big Sur (Intel/Apple Silicon) and greater. For macOS Catalina or earlier, please use driver 1.1.0. This driver provides sample rate conversion for 44.1kHz, 88.2kHz and 96kHz operation. For 48kHz operation, we recommend using the Mac class compliant driver. Installation of this driver will require lowering your system security settings. Please click here for installation instructions.” If you’re on the download page and click the link it reveals this info: Hope this helps/makes sense.
ninecows
The driver worked! I had zero idea that I actually had to download a separate driver for it. So used to these things just working without. Thanks! 1

Helix is "plug and play" with the regular Apple Core Audio, but as you discovered, only at 48kHz. You need to install the driver for other sample rate options. On the Windows platform, all the necessary drivers are installed along with HX Edit during the update routine. Glad you got it working - have fun.
