The stomp has way better capabilities and has the midi I need to talk to other gear so I replaced my pod go with the stomp. However, I'm having a hard time figuring this out. The POD can have a dedicated output for the amp with no cab, and another with a cab for a PA system and recording, but the unit has no MIDI. silverhead Posted December 11, 2023 Share Posted December 11, 2023 Use the Send output to your amp, and the Main output(s) to the PA. Place the Send block before the Cab block in your signal chain, with both of them being the last blocks in the chain (unless there are other blocks you want to go to the PA and not the amp, in which case place those after the Send too). Hi, The file that you attached is a generic .php file NOT a Line 6 Helix format .hlx file, therefore nobody here will be able to edit it and show you an example of how to split the outputs for use with and without cabinets. I would suggest try again, but ensure the file you upload is named correctly and uploaded using the "choose files" option. One with a cab sim and one without? 163 B · 1 download Further to my earlier post, consider the Stomp XL’s Send output to be equivalent to the POD Go Amp Out. The only difference is that the POD Go architecture taps the Amp Out signal automatically just before the Cab/IR block; you can’t change that. By contrast, the Stomp XL architecture allows you to place other FX blocks after the Send and before the Cab/IR so you can send a more effected signal to the PA than to your amp.
