If I try to run two instances of Native simultaneously, they both cut out completely. It's not a CPU issue.

I'm trying to track a Yamaha Attitude bass using the 2 Billy Sheehan patches in Native. I'm running an M1 Mac with Logic Pro and have plenty of processing power. The app doesn't overload and the meter in Native remains active, but no sound comes out. I can run one instance, but if I try running them together, after they cut out the only way to get one to work again is to remove both from the channel strips and reinstall one. I can chain Neural plugins together to get fx, amps and cabs from multiple instances on more than one track while recording them simultaneously, so I have a really hard time believing its overloading the computer using two native presets on parallel tracks. If it is, Native needs an overhaul.

I put in a support ticket, but got the standard response where days get wasted because they have to ask me to resist all the tech specs I already gave in my computer profile and ask me to reiterate I have the latest version installed "correctly", again, as if that info wasn't already there. At least I wasn't asked if I turned my computer on.

Hi,

I’m surprised to hear this.

Only this afternoon I had 2 instances of Native running side by side in Logic Pro - as usual - no problem. In fact one regular contributor on here regularly has 5 or 6 instances open in a project.

You mention that you can run several Neural plugs without this issue, but you didn’t say if a single copy of Native functions as expected.

Not a Logic Pro user but I have Live and Gig Performer projects on my M1 Macbook Pro, running multiple Native instances, even with some hardcore FXs like poly pitch tracking, reverbs, lines of delays etc... No problems and plenty of CPU juice.

I know isnt helping much, but you can stay sure isnt a Native limitation.
