HX Stomp XL presets 29C - 32D can't install presets

Every other preset I can drag and drop a preset from the customtone area after downloading. Presets 29C - 32D just say New preset. I just got this unit today and I just did the newest update and also a factory reset because none of the factory presets were in this unit. It seems I can build a preset but can't drag and drop one or import one or move one of the other factory presets into any of these locations. Any thoughts? Did I miss something or are these presets like this for a reason? Thank you for any help. If this is normal please let me know. Thanks again

Just tried all of those actions, no problem.

Did you update to HX Edit 3.70 (latest HX Edit) and FW 3.71?

Verify by clicking  the ? in the lower left corner.

When you drag and drop, a blue line appears between the presets where it will land.

Are you seeing that?

What do you mean by "the customtone area? A folder on your computer?

Are you on a PC or a MAC? Be specific. I'm on a PC, maybe it's a MAC issue?

Hi,

 

If you are trying to import presets which you have downloaded from Line 6 CustomTone, you need to ensure that they are compatible with your hardware.
 

Line 6 specify that the HX Stomp XL can load Presets designed for Helix, Helix Rack+Control, Helix LT, Helix Native, and HX Effects presets, as long as they contain 8 or fewer blocks on a single DSP path.

 

It would be helpful to know exactly which CustomTone presets you’re having this problem with.
