medicinewolf99 Posted February 16 Share Posted February 16 I'm having a hard time setting up a wah or vol/wah combo with one expression pedal. It seems that it randomly changes from exp 1 to exp 2. Also sometimes it just gets stuck on a mid wah tone and wont fluctuate(go from 1-100) when I press the wah back and forth. The toe switch doesn't seem to do anything either. My cable has a stereo end that goes into the stomp and 2 mono ends into each pedal input... What you have is already the right cable for the SP1-L6. It might be faulty though. Open it up the stereo plug (=TRS: tip, ring, sleeve) and check whether the tip and ring cables are in danger of having (unwanted) contact. The jacks are labelled OUT 1 and OUT 2. > means "connect this cable to that out". The cable mono leads should be labeled TIP and RING. RING is USUALLY red. Now go into Global Settings and find the settings I described. Set them as I described. If you still don't get it, be specific about what is confusing you. One way is to set Global Settings -> Footswitches -> FS8 Function to TogglEXP. The other (imho better) way is is to set Global Settings -> Footswitches -> FS8 Function to Stomp 8 and assign FS8 to bypass wah and volume (if one is on the other is bypassed) and assign both wah and volume to EXP1 (EXP2 isn't used). This works because to toggle between wah and volume you need to "toe down" the expression pedal which means the volume is full anyways.
