CygnusX1Bk2
There are tiny icons but no amp or device GUI panels for parameter manipulation. Just colored sliders that have no visual or topological correspondence to the amp/device models that users are trying to emulate. There are control sliders for functions that are not even on the models they are supposed to be emulating. Coming from Amp Farm and POD Farm this is a huge step backward. Perhaps I am missing something. Literally EVERY amp sim plugin has graphical user interfaces that resemble the devices modeled. It's bad enough that Line 6 has dropped support for most of their software that I have been using for decades. Even the old POD support apps, while primative at least somewhat resembled an amp or a device in some fashion. Helix may be the best sounding amp sim I own a license for but I'll never know because sliders are uninviting and non intuitive causing me to not want to use it. Very disappointing. silverhead
Other than ‘Why’ (which nobody here could explain) is there a question in there somewhere? Nice first post, btw. Perhaps a complaint call to Customer Support would leave you feeling better?

If you want larger icons - see my reply in this thread. The definitive answer on the idea of a skeuomorphic interface is in this thread from way back in 2017. See the reply from Digital_Igloo (Eric Klein, Chief Product Design Architect at Yamaha Guitar Group, Inc. / Line 6 / Ampeg) Hope this helps/makes sense.
