bg56
Hoping someone has seen this and has a solution other than factory reset / restore. When I turned on my Helix LT today, one of my user setlist (3) was still named correctly but all the presets are an exact duplicate of the Factory 1 setlist (1). I figured "OK, I must have done something wrong yesterday and went to import a correct preset. The import appeared to work with the name of the preset changing for about 1/2 second then the name reverted back to the preset name from Factory 1. Same thing happens when I copy/paste a preset. This is only happening for this setlist (3). My other user setlists are working fine. Anyone seen this before or have suggestions on how to fix it? screen shot of setlists setlist 1 screen shot setlist 3 screen shot I'm not fast enough to capture a screen shot just after the import/paste but importing/pasting to 01A works for a moment - the name updates to the imported/pasted preset and then immediately reverts to US Double Nrm Thanks
silverhead
Do you have a recent backup of your Setlist 3? If so try importing the entire setlist rather than individual presets. If not select only Setlist 3 (Anthem) for restoration in the Restore From Backup procedure. Select your most recent system backup file created at the time of your last firmware update, or a later one if you performed a manual system backup.
theElevators
Restore to factory defaults and restore from a backup. I’ve had weird behavior like that where multiple presets became corrupted. And wouldn’t work. This fixed it. you probably downloaded a preset at some point recently, would be my guess.
bg56
Thanks for the input - a factory reset of globals did not help but factory preset of setlists (keep IRs) did the job. Further testing indicates some sort of corruption of user setlist 3 - it was a duplicate of Factory 1 AND could not be over written. Any effort to replace presets or the setlist just resulted in it reverting to the strange duplicate of factory

mcrawshaw
Just had the exact same thing happen on my Helix LT. I upgraded firmware from 3.71 to 3.80 on 21st Dec 2024. Followed the proper procedures including updating HX Edit to v3.82, took full backup, run the firmware update, did a factory reset, and restored from backup selecting everything except the "Factory" setlists and included my setlist which goes into the third setlist slot, originally called "USER 1" but now called "MART 1". Have been using the HELIX regularly since then without any modifications to any presets. Haven't even run HX Edit. Then suddenly today 8th Feb 2025, the contents of my "MART 1" setlist has been overwritten with the contents of "FACTORY 1" setlist. A restore from backup saved the day but if that happened during setup for a gig, then I'd be really stuck. As a precaution, I'm planning to copy the entire "Mart 1" setlist to "USER 2" and "USER 3" so I should have a backup on the device but it will be a nuisance to have to keep them all up to date. It appears that there's a glitch here on startup.
