Phil2704
Dear all, I recently purchased a brand-new HX STomp unit and so far am very happy with what it can do while working through the various options. Now I've been working on how to best integrate it in my recording setup and while doing this I stumbled across what seems like a hardware defect to me: When attaching headphones or monitor speakers to the Send out (using TRS stereo cable) one out of the two channes has considerably (like 20-30dB) lower output than the other one. In the global settings the Send output is set to line level. What I have tried without success: I have tried multiple cables, always same behaviour I have checked whether this occurs only for output of the internal processing (path B) or also when sending signal from my computer (set DAW output to channel 3/4 of the HX Stomp) - it is exactly the same I would be thankful for any feedback whether there might be a wrong setting that I could correct or whether it indeed seems like a defective unit. Thanks a lot in advance! Best regards, Philip
silverhead
Since it’s brand new it will be under warranty. I would open a support ticket to work directly with Line 6 tech support (this is a user community forum). Click on the Support link at the top of this page. Then click Contact Support to be able to open a ticket.
Schmalle
Make sure in Global Settings -> Ins/Outs both Send/Return levels (L and R) are set to the same type (Line or Inst) when comparing their levels.
Phil2704
Thanks both for your swift replies! Turns out it was exactly what schmalle suggested! That's a relief, since I already had to return on faulty unit...
