Marc_T1222
Hi everyone, I have a Helix LT. I've lost my last too set lists, since I received the message : operation failed due to dsp overload - code 8611. Is someone has already had that king of bug? Is someone was able to find these presets? My last update was in December 2023, on the 3.6 version and it was incomplete. I will lost many hours of work if I can't fix this problem. I read in this forum that some persons has had this problem in the past but do you know if with the 3.7 version I can recover my presets? I have a gig in 2 days and I am very anxious about that. Is someone can help me and explain what can I do? Thank you in advance for your precious help
silverhead
What was the device doing when it generated this message? During a firmware update? While importing presets? something else? If during a firmware update, was it before or after the device backup step? If after you have the backup file from which you can restore your setlists. If before then you can use the most recent manual setlist backups that you made (you do that regularly, don’t you?). In any case, try following the recovery procedures described here:

Thank you in advance for your precious help Hi, This error has been reported in here previously on several occasions, even way back to firmware v.2.80 - if you do a search for 8611, you can should find them, and possibly find a solution. Example: ensure your HX Edit and Firmware are the same version. If you followed the instructions for updating your firmware, the first thing you are promoted to do is to make a backup of all contents of your Helix, including presets. This is a “fail safe” procedure - the Helix is a computer, and computers can, and do go wrong - always work on copy. If you made a backup, then you should be able to perform a factory reset on your Helix and then reload your presets. If you did not make any back ups of your presets then you have no way to restore them, and you only have yourself to blame. This is the sort of mistake you will only make once, if you do not want to spend many hours recreating your carefully crafted tones. It is not a question of “if” something goes wrong, more like “when”. Always have a backup option. Hope this helps/makes sense.
