Expression help

I'm sure there has to be something I'm overlooking, but idk what it is. I'm using a source audio expression bc that's what I have laying abouts. When I'm trying to dial in a wah, I'll have the heel down and start the throw around half way thru it'll get to the fully open or treble high (don't know how else to describe it) then the rest of the throw it closes so toe down gets you the same sound as heel down. Any help is appreciated..

There are two parameter settings you should check. One controls the bypass state of the Wah FX and a different one controls the pedal used for the sweep of the Wah effect. Sounds to me like you may have the on/off state assigned to some midpoint position of one pedal and the sweep assigned to a different pedal.

Hi,

I guess that you’re experiencing the zero to 100% at the mid point then back to zero at full travel?

This has been mentioned many, many times in this forum, way back in 2016 in this thread (see the reply from Digital_Igloo)

Even more here,

And still more.

Some Exp pedals can be modified, and some just don’t work - the least expensive solution is a cheapo M-Audio EXP that will work or go for the very expensive Mission Engineering pedal designed to work with Line 6 units.

Hope this helps/makes sense.
