As usual, Apple updates it's OS and the entire house of cards comes tumbling down. Happens every year! I wouldn't expect any news on this until the next Firmware update. Last predicted, by Digital_Igloo over on TGP, to be sometime in late fall. One good reason not to be an early adopter. Although having said that, I did have an email from Eventide this morning saying that they have completed testing their plugins and are fully compatible with Sequoia. Hope this helps/makes sense. Yes and no. So far, Sequoia seems to cause pretty much no issues for pretty much all plugins. Don't wanna be their guinea pig, though. Because of that, so far my way of dealing with things was to create a bootable image, update and check whether things were fine. In case they were, great, in case they weren't, I'd simply return to my image. But I just learned the hard way that this isn't working anymore on any M-Macs. They can't reliably be booted from an image, no matter how you created it. And to add to this, you can't easily go back to previous versions via Time Machine or whatsoever, either, as long as there's been a major OS update inbetween. IOW, Apple has managed to completely destroy one of the features that I always found to be most amazing. Apple and their fanboys are all like "It's because of additional security" - but nobody has provided a single example so far. Sucks, really. True, very true - I have a couple of bootable flash drives that have been a great “fail safe” system, because Time Machine is no real help anymore. As for Helix Native, I don’t really think that Line 6 will produce a patch, if needed, before the release of the next major firmware release. I guess the they will be testing HX Native beta versions with Mac OS 15.0.1 (Sequoia).

Very likely, a patch isn't even needed. But I hesitate to update to Sequoia without knowing - especially without knowing I could easily go back.
SaschaFranck
Fwiw, I just updated to Sequoia today and so far things seem to be fine, HX Native included. Don't take my word for anything, though.
