357mag
I picked up a POD X3 Pro because I wanted one (now I have both the X3 Bean and the X3 Pro). Problem is I cannot record my guitar with the X3 Pro. I chose the correct driver under ASIO driver in Reaper. Under enable inputs I chose what I usually choose and that is First Mix L and Last Tone 1 Dry. I armed a track but when I hit CTRL + R to record nothing happens. I don't get a signal coming into the track. So I'm suspecting that something is not set correctly somewhere. I have posted two screenshots for you to look at. Don't know what is wrong. silverhead
What are the Output settings in your POD preset? Make sure that whatever output maps to the USB Mix L channel is specified. Also, aren’t there 8 USB channels? Why are you cutting out the 8th channel by specifying the Last as 7?
357mag
It says Tone 1 On underneath that it says Match Studio Direct Digital 48KHZ Rate and 0DB Level and S/PDIF Format. Don't see a USB Mix L channel. Don't know anything about that. Under the word Last there are 8 USB channels. You told me awhile back to choose 7. Tone 1 Dry so I could have a totally dry guitar signal recorded in Reaper. Channel 8 is called Tone 2 Dry. I'm just recording Tone 1 wet and Tone 1 dry. Anyway right now I'm not concerned about recording two tones. I have to figure out why I'm not getting any signal.
357mag
I just powered up my X3 Bean just so I could look into the screen. I don't see anything different about the parameters in the X3 Bean than what I see in the X3 Pro. Beats me why I'm not getting a signal. 357mag
I got it fixed now. I won't be using the X3 Pro. I will only be using the X3 Bean.
