Got the same problem. Can't get Monkey to connect to line 6 and can't log in. Tried 2 windows 10 PCs. Monkey doesn't see my 500 or the USB interface. Says in the

download section that both are supported by 10 and 11.  With central the USB interface is recognised and I can log in.

Bonjour, j'ai le même problème. j'ai mis à jour la version licence manager en 1.16 et maintenant "licence manager" fonctionne de nouveau correctement.

par contre j'ai le même problème avec Monkey.

I've been going back and forth with support for 2 weeks about this and they haven't done anything at all. I need a USB Firmware update to make Workbench work with an X3 Live and have been completely unable to make it work because of this crap. I've tried multiple computers and networks and it's the same. The stupid software just won't connect to their server and they need to fix it or get us another way to update this gear.

Monkey on my Windows 10 laptop has stopped connecting to the Line 6 servers, and both Monkey and Line 6 License Manager give me a connection error.

Line 6 Centre identifies my Line 6 USB interface fine and says the firmware is up to date. It does not identify the Pod XT. @psarkissian, any ideas?

Something I've been doing recently,...

Download page, then download it to your computer, save it to a folder.

Once that's is done, connect the guitar or bass and open Monkey.

Select portion you want to update, "update from file" will appear, click on it, go into the

folder with the downloaded Line 6 file and open it in Monkey from there.

Follow the prompts and update or "reinstall".

Never needed Monkey to 'use' Workbench (or Workbench HD), as they are two different applications.

Monkey is for doing Firmware updates. Workbench is for doing custom patches and tuning to 300, 500

and 700 series Variax. Workbench HD application for custom patches and tuning for JTV, Standard and Shuriken.

No, because you won't be using the server, so login is useless. Monkey would simply be the conduit.

Go to Downloads page on the Line 6 site, get Firmware, save to your computer.

Open Monkey,... select what you want to install or update. Lower right in the window it will say "update from file",

click on it, then open the file from your computer (not the Line 6 server) for what you downloaded earlier.

It has to be the file for what you selected. If you selected Flash, then DON'T try to load USB driver, that won't work.

It would have to be the corresponding file for the update selection.
