PeterPlectrum
I updated to 3.8 on my helix floor but the new amps do not appear either on the floor display or in HX Edit. I have HX Edit 3.7 installed but the update seemed to go ok. I now learn that Mcbook Mojave is not compatible with HX Edit 3.8. I still dont understand why amps not showing on the floor display though. Any help appreciated please?
silverhead
The new amps don't appear in HX Edit 3.70. You need to update both HX Edit and firmware to 3.80. Mojave has been unsupported by Apple for more than 3 years. You can expect to have an increasing number of products (not just Line 6) no longer supporting it. To remain able to use the latest releases of just about anything, you should upgrade your Mac OS.

Hi, To be able to see and use the new models in the latest firmware via HX Edit then your version number of HX Edit should match the version number of the Firmware that you have installed. Having said that, the current Firmware is 3.80 and due to some issues on Apple Silicon computers the Editor software has been patched and is now V3.82. Download and install the latest HX Edit and you should be able to use the new amps. There is a Sticky Thread which explains this on the first page of this forum. Also a Factory Reset is required after a firmware update. Hope this helps/makes sense.
