Dueler
Ok, I just ordered a L6 HX Effects. So far so good. One thing I missed is because the output of the HX will go direct into the PA and with no amp models on board it will sound flat. Ok, L6 seems to have me covered with the Helix Native. Alright, so far so good. Now I need to know if Helix Native will run on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ and how does it interface with my HX Effects. In short, how does all this stuff blend together harmoniously? BTW, you will be conversing with an absolute newbie. :) Thanks
silverhead
Are you using an amp/cab of any sort, physical or virtual? Helix Native can exchange presets with the HX FX through HX Edit but doesn’t not connect to Helix Native. I doubt that Helix Native will run on your Galaxy tablet but I hope I’m wrong on that. In order to use Helix Native you will need a DAW (audio recording program). Do you have one? To use Helix Native for playing live you will also need an audio interface. Do you have one? HX FX is not one. Also for playing live it needs to work in real time but it involves latency. It’s not recommended. Helix Native is designed for the recording studio, not for live play. Tell us more about your physical setup and your hopes, intentions, and expectations.
rd2rk
For what you want to do you should just turn it around (hope you bought it somewhere with a good return policy) and swap it for an HX Stomp. If swapping it is not an option, another relatively inexpensive rig would be to add a ToneX1 in the FX Loop of the HXFX. Stores 20 amp captures (three at a time active), thousands more available online (free and paid), and doubles as an AI.

I am a solo vocalist and accomplished guitar player. I want something that gives my guitars a great sound as well as easy programmability. The output will go directly into a JBL PRX ONE stick PA https://jblpro.com/en-US/products/prx-one. I/O leveling ability will be important for the best sound (to me anyway as well as cabinet modeling). It would be nice to be able to control some functions from a (wireless bluetooth) mic stand Samsung tablet but not a deal breaker. If the Stomp doesn't look like it will do it. I believe that is my wish list. Thanks again!
Dueler
BTW, I would want to be able to run all connections (except instruments) in balanced mode, either XLR or TRS.
somebodyelse
99% certain HX Edit and Helix Native aren't available as 'mobile device apps'. If you're exclusively an acoustic player, you don't necessarily need any amp and/or cab sims. Put an EQ block at the end of your chain and adjust it until it sounds good.
