Helix Stomp XL SnapShot via Midi

Hello, I use MobileSheets (MS) to manage my songs. I connect MS and my HX Stomp XL with a USB cable. Midi commands are issued via the MS. As soon as I call up a new song in MS, the corresponding preset and the SnapShot are selected. The first midi command is the Program Change (PC). Here the preset is selected and the second command is Control Change (CC). For CC, 2 values must be entered. Instructions for the SnapShot "69" (see documentation) and the number (0-3) of the SnapShot to select. 0= SnapShot 1, 1= SnapShot 2 etc. With the default setting in "Global Settings > Preferences" in > Snapshot Reselect - "Reload" everything works fine. If I set >SnapShot to "Toggle Previous" instead of "Reload" >, the right preset is selected, but not always the right "SnapShot". Does anyone have an idea why this could be?

You can find this on the manual

Snapshot Reselect Determines the behavior when pressing a Snapshot mode footswitch again after loading its assigned snapshot. “Reload” (the default) simply reloads the stored state of the footswitch’s assigned snapshot again. “Toggle Previous” toggles between loading the previously selected snapshot and the footswitch’s assigned snapshot.

What I don't understand is if I make a preset change via PC command and then output the command via CC, e.g. "select snapshot 0" why doesn't it accept the command? This should be independent of whether "Toogle previous" or "Reload" was selected in the Prereference. If I select a preset via footswitch (up/down), then everything works perfectly. I have organized the presets in such a way that snapshot 1 is always called up when changing presets (via footswitch).

You're comparing preset selection (footswitch up/down) with MIDI PC + CC#69. Apples and oranges!

MIDI PC + CC#69 is comparable with a two step footswitch selection of 1. preset + 2. snapshot.

@Schmalle

Sorry, but the commands as they are issued by MS, in order, are correct (s. attaachments)

PC - Pause - CC.

PC e.g. 120 (for preset no. 120), then pause e.g. 1 second, then CC Number= 69 + Value= 1 (for snapshot 2).

When changing presets, the correct SnapShot would then have to be called. In the example snapshot no. 2

The problem is sometimes when changing presets instead of SnapShot 2, SnapShot 1 is called.

In the attachments I choose the Snapshot 1!

Check Global Settings->MIDI/Tempo->Snapshot CC Send :

Quote

Determines whether HX Stomp automatically sends matching MIDI CC messages (CC69) when selecting Snapshots. This is handy for simultaneously recalling Snapshots on another MIDI-connected Helix or HX device. This option is "Off" by default.
