keggers
hoping someone may be able to help, i'm using my Helix floor with a Laney Lfr212 using quarter inch out and its recently developed an earth/static fault where theres an audible buzz which goes away when you touch the strings which gives a click very similar to what you get with a valve amp with a dodgy guitar lead. So far i have tried different power leads ,different guitar leads, different guitars, plugging into a different amp ground lifts none of which solves the problem which leads me to think that its internal, has anyone else had a similar problem and what was the fix. thanks in advance
VGK17
Maybe a Behringer MicroHD HD400 2-channel Hum Destroyer will help? I have one for my monitors. It's only $21 USD worth having just in case. I also have the same Laney FRFR and going to switch from XLR to 1/4" this weekend when I rewire everything. I'll let you know if I see any hum and if my Behringer works. theElevators
Is your Helix on the bare floor? or carpet? With carpet, I noticed all sorts of issues, where the capacitance of buttons was triggered with both Helixes I own. Just wondering.
