Is the use - connection Helix Rack with 2 Helix control units possible?

I use the the Helix Rack with Helix control for a decade now, and I am still very pleased with the quality of sound, ease of use and durability (the switches in HC control needed to be replaced).

I  wonder if its possible to connect 2 Helix Control to a single Helix rack (via RJ 45 cable/switch or hub), to create more switching options, also refered to as: daisy chaining.

My search so far in the forum and internet has not been successful. Axe FX provides this option up to 4 units, hm....

  • Is there an option available today, or in the foreseable future?

Thx for any helpful answers.

I hope this answer is helpful. I am responding just to let you know that your post is visible to the community. I don’t know if anyone has actually tried this and unless they have they likely won’t respond. So in case you hear silence…. Your question has been heard.

I'm curious about your use case.

If you are thinking about doubling the number of footswitches or snapshots... that's not possible.

If you are thinking about having a backup (redundant) Helix Control... I have never heard of anybody doing that.  Unless you are playing a huge arena, if you are worried about things failing, just pack a backup Helix Control with you.  When I toured Europe, I had a backup Helix with me everywhere.
