Tomschelfaut
Tonight I wanted to play with my HX FX at rehearsal and it won't start anymore. I haven't touched it in a few weeks, it's just been sitting on the pedalboard. It starts up, but all the screens are blank and the bottom middle footswitch is flickering. The unit does not react to anything. I've tried hard reset manually, it doesn't reset, I just get the blank screens. I hooked it up to the PC just now, tried resetting with HX edit, nothing, the app doesn't react. The unit does seem to connect to the PC though. I need this thing for a gig on Monday, so any help would be appreciated!
silverhead
Those symptoms can indicate a power supply issue. Are you using the power adapter that came with the unit? If not, try testing the HX FX alone with its original power supply. If no joy open a support ticket.
Tomschelfaut
I don't have the original supply, I'm using a cioks dc7, which seems to be working fine and I also tried all the other outlets and the issue persists

If you’re certain that your supply is working fine then the issue must be something also. I have no other suggestions.
Schmalle
Cioks DC7 provides 6 W per outlet. You needs at the very least 10 W to operate. So you need a current doubler adapter cable and connect HX FX to two outlets.

Or their Crux convertor "Converts DC7’s 24V auxiliary outlet into a 9V or 12V outlet with 24 watts of power"
