Helix Native Previous Settings Suddenly Sound Different

Hi all,

I need to reinstall Windows so I updated from PT 2022 to 2025, and updated to the latest Helix Native 3.82 (I don't recall what the last version I had installed).

When I play old PT sessions, some of the HN plugins I had on existing tracks fine, but others sound a lot quieter and less punchy (I'm not loading a preset, just playing the track with the previous saved settings).  I made sure reinstall all the IRs, and I can see all the effects in the chain. One thing I did notice is the cab edit now has single, dual, single legacy, and duel legacy as well as a little icon--my previous version of HN did not have that.

I would really be grateful for any suggestions to address this. I had some many instances of HN on this album that isn't practical to readjust each one; I could try installing an old version.

Thanks

Rob

Problem solved...sort of.

I discovered that even though I copied the IRs back over, the existing instances of HN couldn't find them and HN couldn't find the presets. I was able to recoved the App Data backup of the Helix Native settings and copy them to the new computer. Everything sounds great, but now all my presets have a yellow pick and I can't back anything up because I get "Failed to export bundle. Could not decrypt the asset. [code -1116]"

Login to your Line 6 account using Helix Native. It is probably recognizing your computer as a new one that needs to be authorized. The yellow picks indicate licensed presets such as those purchased from Helix Marketplace. Your account holds the purchase license so once that link is made the presets should become unlocked, and the yellow picks should disappear.
