dominionod
Hi all, Been using Helix LT with 4CM successfully for a couple of months now and all of a sudden, my signal levels started to drop every time I step on the exp pedal. First, I thought cables are faulty, but they are not and after some time I lost signal completely. Now I cannot use 4Cm anymore and have to go straight into the amp. Did I cause my send /return ins/outs stopped working somehow that I'm not aware of? Thank you in advance for your help.

Have you tested multiple presets or created a new one from scratch to make sure it isn't that?

Actually, I just thought it was exp ped that causing the problem, later on I figured, even if I move Helix, signal drops and eventually stopped working. I actually have whole set list with 20 + presets and they were all working OK until last night. I was lucky enough to experience this problem on sound check and I had to remove 4CM and went straight to the amp. I had to bypass FX loop on all presets and snapshots before the gig. rd2rk
Perform a Factory Reset. If that doesn't work, re-install the FW. Don't forget to do a backup before either operation. If neither works, contact support.

The thing to do in those situations is trying to isolate the problem. Where in the 4CM signal chain does the problem occur is the question. The problem can be the amp, the cables, Helix hardware or the patch. Before you even pull out one cable disengage the FX loop block in Helix and listen if your dry guitar gets to the power amp. If it does engage the FX loop block again. Next step would be to disable the amp's FX loop and listen if signal gets through. With these two tests you can exclude a lot of problem causes. To exclude hardware problems in the FX loops (the amp's and Helix') connect send and return directly with a patch cable and test if signal gets through. As soon as I get to rehearsal I will test it. I will also try second send/return to see if that works. I guess I have to assign FX Loop 2 I did try disengaging amp’s loop and the signal was coming out. Thanks again, really appreciate all the help.
