afterburner1277 Posted November 22, 2025 Share Posted November 22, 2025 Hi All, I use Helix stadium as I did with the OG Helix Floor. On the floor and at times on a helix stand on my desk. I notice the Stadium has a protector/shielded plastic cover on the power cable? So, when I use it on my desk, I want to use the OG Helix power cable (missing the protector/shield) and leave the stock Stadium power cable on the floor. Is this, ok? Any input would be appreciated. Power, MIDI, and USB cables permanently by my desk and then the power cord that came with it stays in the hard case for gigs. I haven't had any issues. I like having the option to keep it on the floor with a permenant cable, and being able to plop it on my desk (especially now) with the Stadium to use the touch screen, and have a dedicated cable from under my desk.
