decreebass
Anyone else notice the Focus view doesn't seem to play nice with Snapshots? I'm using the Ampeg SVT 50th, I've pressed and turned all the parameters so they're snapshot-enabled, but then when I set snaps, some of the parameters change correctly, but not all. Hopefully they're looking into this... Hopefully Line 6 can implement a quick one-touch way to enable snapshot-enabling for Focus View. It's annoying have to push and twist 12-24 knobs (and then to have them not all work with snapshots).
silverhead
Pardon the redundancy, but I’ll repost here my comment from another thread in which you mention this….. Make sure you are aware of the Snapshot Discard Edits On/Off settings, and its potential role in what you may be considering a bug. It’s possible that the edits you think are not being honoured are in fact following your instruction to discard them.

No, that's not the case; to replicate the issue, make a preset and add an Ampeg SVT 50th. Push and turn all the parameters so they're snap-enabled. Then set some settings via Focus View. Not all of the changes save. For me, the main one I noticed is the amp channel doesn't always save. I didn't make a detailed list of all the parameters, but there might be others that don't save. silverhead
You may have found a bug. Open a support ticket to report it. Before doing so, try other amps and FX to see if it’s unique to this amp or is a more general issue.

Nah, I'm not gonna go through the hassle to do that (tried before I came here; arduous and annoying process). I'll send someone an email if there's a direct line to someone who will read it. silverhead
Open a support ticket or call Line 6. Info for both is under the Support link at the top of this page. If that’s too much of a hassle then …. do whatever to deal with your issue.

I did as you suggested and the "settings" from focus view are saved while the location of the circle on the focus view screen is not saved. I set every setting in the Ampeg SVT 50th to be controlled by snapshots. When I change the snapshot I do see the settings changing for each snapshot. I can see where this lack of moving the circle within focus view to the snapshot could be annoying if, after all your hard work to dial in the settings for, say, 8 snapshots the focus view screen is not tracking as you expected. If the settings were very subtle it would even appear that nothing is tracking even though it is. Not sure if it is a true bug or if Line 6 is aware and they are working on this along with the other promises for the future they have made. Or am I missing something else? Please let me know. I have personally sent in several support requests over time. In fact I just sent one in Saturday and hope to hear back by Wednesday this week. Line 6 usually responds within 3 to 5 business days. Once they respond, I will broach this issue as well. just plain dennis
jdomine
This seems like a bug to me. We have logged a ticket for the firmware team to investigate. Thanks for letting us know.

No, I don't really care about where the focus circle is on the on the image. But, I recorded a video demonstrating it; check it out: On 11/24/2025 at 1:16 PM, jdomine said: This seems like a bug to me. We have logged a ticket for the firmware team to investigate. Tomorrow morning I am going to repeat the process you showed in your video using the same amp. I feel I am missing something and too tired to think clearly about it. I have not changed any default global settings. My process is as follows using the WhoWatt103 using the Stadium touch screen and not the app. In my previous test I did use the app however I wanted to use the stadium touch screen this time so I was in the environment you used for the video. 1) Make new preset, name, and save 2) click more button to go to snapshot view 3) click on snapshot one, name Lily with color of my choice 4) open focus view, leave on Lily, save 5) click on snapshot two, name Who Noon and color 6) move focus to Who Noon and save 7) click on snapshot three, name Miles and color 8) move focus to Miles and save And I continued using this methodology for Spirit and Wall. I am not saying you have to name and color the snapshots. What I did not see was whether or not you saved after each snapshot creation. Also, I do not know if you changed the way snapshots react within global settings from the default settings. Am I missing something in your video? Thanks jpd
