jpdennis
All, Here is what I just posted within my ticket on this issue. I did not proceed with a reset to factory default. ____________________________________________________________ ticket info ______________________________________________________________________ I was able to remove it in the application and it removed it from the device. I did wait about 10 minutes doing other things before checking the device for the song file to be deleted. But that worked, at least it appears to work. This time I created a setlist then imported the stem files into the setlist. After that I added flags for snapshot changes using two separate presets. After a day I changed out the flags to use only one of the presets. I have been creating presets, powering it off and on, and I even took it to church this past Sunday. I did not use Showcase but I did have it unplugged since Sunday. I turned it on today, selected the preset first, and then started the backing tracks. Everything is working as expected and I have sound. Next, as a test, I booted into the maintenance mode and preformed a backup. I then booted back into preset/play mode and Showcase is still working as expected. So, not sure what I did right or wrong. But those are my methodology and findings so far. ____________________________________________________________ ticket info ______________________________________________________________________ Either this is bug or the instructions may not be clear or complete yet. I have not closed my ticket and am still requesting they determine the issue so we DO NOT have to keep resetting to factory default. jpd
maxnew40
I'm experiencing the same problem now. Tracks loaded show as playing and everything else works, but no audio from the track shows in the mixer or is output to headphones (or other outputs). I don't think showcase is usable at this point in the firmware development, I don't believe it can be trusted to work at a gig. I have zero trust in this feature at this time. I think I might need to go back to using my OG Helix for gigs and rehearsals. Sort of feel like I have purchased a very expensive paperweight at this point. Delete songs (maintenance menu) backup (maintenance menu) factory reset (maintenance menu) restore backup (maintenance menu) reimport (Stadium App) Good luck with this process if it stops playing tracks at a gig. I wouldn't trust this feature if you take the Stadium out of your house.
maxnew40
Factory reset , restore backup, delete songs seems to work, but just wasted a full days of work loading songs (didn't even get to start adding flags before it failed). Not really sure it is worth doing again if it just stops playing audio again. Showcase doesn't seem reliable enough for any serious use. maxnew40
Now after doing the reset and loading some songs all over again the Preset/Snap flags don't do anything. Adding new flags don't have any effect, the preset snapshot doesn't change.
maxnew40
Now after a couple of reboots I have flags seeming to work again, using showcase has been very frustrating and time consuming.
jdag
Same problem, posting here for another data point and to follow. On a few occasions now I've loaded ~10 songs, all single tracks, and they work perfectly. After powering down and upon reboot, they look as though they are playing but there is no audio. And the Matrix screen song meter does not show activity. This seems random, sometimes they do work following reboots. I have also done a number of various sequences of backing up, factory resetting, restoring from backup, reloading songs, etc. I've yet to find any repeatable pattern. I had this problem however I did not perform a reset to default. Also, even when no sound was coming out the meters did register audio. Hopefully my next statement would come back to haunt me. So far I still have audio working fine. I first create a playlist then import the stems into the song I create within the playlist. I use individual stems @ 44.1 kHz exported from Reaper after importing and setting as mono individual tracks. Stadium converts the files into stereo and whatever the rate is it needs for me (which I do not know off hand). I did have to careful with flags. The first time I had a couple on top of each other and thought I was loosing my mind. jpd
