Showcase import stem issue

I tried to import backing track created on cubase in wave format 24 bit 44100 khz, but the software doesn't allow me to drop the file. Did I miss something?

WAV format of 24 bit 44100 khz is OK. How long is the stem? The maximum is 13 minutes playing time. Have your tried using other stems to test? 
 

Make sure you are using compatible versions of Stadium editor/app and firmware.

The song is 3:50 mn. Tried other files, no success. Both the app and the hardware are ver. 1.2 updated

Maybe check your letters?

When I changed folder and wav-file name from BÖC to BOC I was able to drop my files.

The file name is hole hearted, so it shouldn't be an issue...

Double check the installed versions of the app and firmware. To do so, use the Help-> About tabs in the app. It will display the installed versions of both. What are they?

I solved the problem. Effectively, I changed the name of the file (no space between the words) and it works!

A stem file is typically a pre-mixed audio file containing multiple tracks (eg. drums, keyboards, etc.) that can be further processed as a unit. If you mean “Can Stadium extract the original tracks from a stem file and treat them as individual drum, keyboard, etc. tracks” the answer is no. But you can transfer a stem track along with other individual tracks into Stadium to create a Song. However, the stem file remains a single track/unit in Stadium.
