Setting up new Stadium XL - No QR code, no 6-digit code

Just unboxed this morning, going through set up. Was able to connect to my wifi on first screen and hit next. Where I believe there should be a QR code it's just blank white and just dashes where I think there should be the 6-digit code. Would not let me sign on to my account using the login and username. Any ideas?

Also, I am a long, long time user of Helix LT and have the Helix app. Dumb question: where do I download the app for Helix Stadium XL to use on my computer (MAC)?  When I go to downloads I find the new firmware 1.2 but not the app?

Thanks

Update: it's a known issue. Phone support walked me through updating using USB-C to USB-C connected cable to my Mac, as described in another post (just in case any one else runs into this). Once updated and rebooted it showed QR code and 6 digits but didn't need it, just signed in with my username and password. Downloaded the stadium app and all working.

Thanks for letting us know. This is a known bug and our team is investigating the issue to try to solve it. Here is some steps to try for anyone that might encounter this:

We strongly suggest doing the update through a stable WiFi connection. Ignore the USB-C work-around until you've tried these first two steps:

1. Some users have found that toggling the WiFi feature OFF, then back ON should allow them to re-connect to login.

2. Try to manually set the Date/Time to OFF in Global Settings, then set it manually to today’s date. After that, see if you can try the login with the WiFi connection still on.

3. If that doesn’t help, the other work-around is to try installing the latest firmware with Line 6 Central with a USB-C to C connection.

Download Line 6 Central from our software page:

https://line6.com/software/

For Windows, it’s good to install the Helix Stadium app, but it doesn’t allow for updates. They’ll need to use Line 6 Central for the update process.
Once they have both installed, only open Line 6 Central. When Stadium XL is connected, click on the option to download the latest update 1.2.
The update goes in two parts, first it downloads - then it asks to “Perform” the update once complete.

Ran into the same situation. Followed the instructions from Line6Pete1 and was able to login successfully. Then the 1.2 download was just stalled. Canceled it and restarted the download - worked like a charm.

A little buggy. Hopefully the early adopters will help improve the experience for those that will follow.

But what if the Windows user has the infamous device "Helix Sradium Bzlk Transfer" which keeps Line 6 Center from connecting?

I don't think that will prevent anything from happening if its just part of the driver install. Drivers are part of the Helix Stadium application software installer.

Once installed, it will prompt you to re-start Windows.

If you're using Line 6 Central, you want to make sure you're using a USB-C to C connection directly to your PC. No hubs or secondary connections.
Helix Stadium should be closed, and not running in the background or bottom of the screen.

If drivers are installed properly per the installer, "Helix Stadium XL" will appear under "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" within Device Manager on Windows.

To keep it simple, please try connecting to WiFi for updates and follow the steps I mentioned in bold if you can't login.

You're wrong and your suggestions are not helpful,

The USB connection is fine because audio (including asio) amd midi are working excellent on the same usb port with drvers in l6Stadium.inf.

The culprir is the Line 6 WinUsb driver (v1.0.0.11 from the installer) and the device hardware/firmware. All other variables have been excluded by me.

The Bulk Transfer interface of the device (hardware ID: USB\VID_0E41&PID_4841&MI_06) always receives the error code 1 with the message "The installation class is not present or invalid". This is a specific error in the Windows device stack that suggests that the driver does not correctly set the necessary registry entries (possibly the ClassGUID or entries in the CoInstallers section) for this particular interface.

The common denominator in all tests is the Line 6 WinUsb driver (v1.0.0.11 from the installer) and the device hardware/firmware. All other variables have been excluded.

Your suggestions are helpful for general USB problems, but do not affect this specific Code 1 installation error of a single interface.

So don't take me for a fool.

Best regards
