minoriku25
After using my helix LT for 30mins or more, when i switch presets sometimes it stops working, like no sound would come out and i would have to turn off and on the pedal for it to work again. Sometimes even while in the middle of playing, it'll suddenly stop working and all I'll hear is loud buzz. I'm hesitant to use the pedal live because of it. I reached out to Helix support but i bought my pedal used and out of warranty. I tried factory reset and updated firmware but it's still the same. I'm not sure if it's overheating or what. Any suggestion? Thank You
silverhead
Since a firmware reinstall did not resolve the issue I suspect it’s an hardware problem. Your suspicion about overheating suggests a power supply issue and that sounds right to me. Although out of warranty it can still be repaired at some cost. Take it to an authorized Line 6 service centre. 1
rd2rk Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM Are you using it on a carpet? IF YES THEN put it on a hard surface. I use a shelf. If that doesn't work, as @silverhead said or, if there's no service center nearby, contact support. If it turns out to be a known issue they'll sometimes take care of you even out of warranty. 1
