How do I reset pedal changes when changing to a different snapshot on the Helix Floorboard?

I have two paths with two unique signal chains. I have two snapshots, one turns on the first signal chain and the other one turns on the second signal chain. I use the stomp buttons to turn the pedals on/off for each signal path.

How do I make sure that when I turn off one pedal in the first signal path, this is not also done in the second path? So I want to be able to switch from snapshot one to snapshot two and back, and then have my initial settings for snapshot one as I programmed them, and vice versa.

A stomp button can be assigned to a different pedal in the various snapshots and I do that. I want it to reset to the status that the pedal has been programmed with when I switch to a different snapshot.

So ;

1. I have snapshot 1 which includes an overdrive active and I turn off the overdrive.
2. I go to snapshot 2
3. I go back to snapshot 1 and now I want the overdrive in its original state(on)

I want to do this per patch, not globally.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for any info about this.

Rob.

PS. To whom it may concern When someone gives me a thumbs down I also would like to see a comment as to why he or she did that. It helps to determine what to do and what not to do. If it is just a thumbs down I will still not be the wiser.

In Global Settings (maybe the Preferences area?) there is a parameter named Snapshot Edits that controls whether changes to Snapshot settings (like turning your overdrive block on/off) are retained or discarded when you switch snapshots within a preset. You want the changes discarded, meaning when you return to the snapshot the overdrive on/off will remain in its saved state, not retaining the change you made.

However, it is a Global parameter.

There is another option that may be useful but you’ll have to experiment with it. That’s the Bypass Snapshots setting available for each FX block. That removes the Snapshot control for the block, meaning that you turn it on/off manually using a footswitch.

Shame but I was afraid of that. :)

I'll look into your info, thanks!

One more question : Does this mean that I can turn the 'discard setting' on globally when I work live and then turn it off again when I am editing at home? Because that could solve my 'problem'. In that case I just turn it on for live performances and turn it off at home. As long as I don't lose any settings because of the switching.
