pinoy1
Folks, How come the new firmware Variax HD v2.1 is not available for the Vista OS platform? From Line 6 Download page: ..."OS: Windows XP, Mac OS X, Windows 7, Mac OS Snow Leopard, Mac OS Lion, Mac OS Mountain Lion, Windows 8, Mac OS Mavericks "... Note: Windows Vista is not included in the list and if you search the Download page and you're using a Vista OS, the Variax HD v2.1 DOES NOT show up on the list. (This also goes with the v1.9) Any clue on this one?
Charlie_Watt
Vista is too old to support. Microsoft doesn't support it either.
Rewolf48
Same is true for XP and that is still on the list However I would go with XP to download it - it is an firmware file that monkey should be able to read perfectly and I see no reason for the OS version to matter
TheRealZap
probably just an oversight, as i'm sure it will work no problem.

It is kind of strange since they did the same thing with v1.9 with the Vista OS. Oh well, I'll just do the whole process with my laptop that has a Windows 7 OS. I'm sure it will still work with the Vista but I don't want to take any chances during the process of upgrading the firmware on my JTV.
