boynigel
I've been using midi messages for a while now via snapshots, solely to assign a given H90 program to a given snapshot. Given that the H90 can have two presets per program, i'm trying to mute one of the presets within a H90 program via snapshots. On the LT i use 4 snapshots per preset. the way i was able to mute an H90 preset specific to a snapshot on the LT is: midi channel = Base CC# = 1 Value = 1 Wait Time = 0 Conversely, to have the H90's preset unmuted: midi channel = Base CC# = 0 Value = 0 Wait Time = 0 these values allow me to have the chosen H90 preset muted on two snapshots (first group of settings). perfect. but on the other two snapshots that i want the H90 preset to be UNmuted, only ONE snapshot gives me the unmuted H90 effect, despite having the same exact midi settings (2nd group) assigned in Command Center i'm sure it's user error, but i can't figure out what i'm doing wrong. Eventide Output Gain CC# is set to 1, FWIW So basically i've 3 out of 4 snapshots doing exactly what i need them to do, but that one snapshot (#3) refuses to give me the unbypassed/active H90 preset, despite snapshot 1 giving me just that, despite using the same midi values. make it make sense. Oh, and i should add- these exact same assigned parameters work perfectly in another preset...which makes me wonder if i've a buggy preset? rd2rk
Load a MIDI Monitor program so that you can see what EXACTLY is being sent. Using the preset that works, note (on paper) the messages being sent by each Snapshot. Do the same with the preset that doesn't work. This procedure will show you where the problem lies.
Schmalle
Besides @rd2rk 's advice you could post the patch - I'd have a look at it.

I've never had the need to do so. if you're not inclined, i get it.

Export the patch in question with HX Edit. Then attach it to a message in this thread.

It doesn't matter what you think you see in the preset. The only thing that matters is what is actually being sent. Here's a simple FREE monitor: MIDIView - Free MIDI Monitor tool for Win & Mac Here's an online monitor: Disaster Area Designs MIDI Monitor
