stomp mode after selecting new preset

Is it possible to start a new preset in Stomp mode.  I want to be able to select a new preset, and have it go to stomp mode.

it looks like the "Preset Mode Return" option is only available if you have either Stomp A or Stomp B set to Presets.  I like have mode 1 going to Stomp A and mode 2 going to stomp B.  I like having that many FS controls.... however, as far as I can tell, the only way to have a new preset start automatically in stomp mode is to have either mode 1 or mode 2 going to Presets.  If you do that, then you can't get to one of the Stomps (A or B)....

For example, if I have mode 1 set to Stomp A and mode 2 set to Presets,  then clicking a new preset while in mode 2 will take me to Stomp A... which is great.  The bad part is, with this setup, I don't see a way to get to Stomp B.

I hope I'm missing something (which is usually the case ;)....  Can anyone help?

Thanks.

does the above make sense?  Not really sure how to state what I am looking for.  There doesn't seem to be an easy way to use the mode A and B for stomp mode and then be able to change a preset and then go back to mode A and B in stomp mode.

To change a preset, I have to long hold the mode button (FS6), then select either presets (or combo, if the preset list in added to the combo top or bottom).  I then press to select the preset I want, then I have to press the mode button (FS6) for it to go back to stomp A and stomp B mode.

I understand and love the flexibility of the unit, I'm just hoping there is way to cut out the last FS6 press to get to the stomp modes after the preset is select.

hope someone has a workaround.  (I know I could use the command window to add a preset up or down in the stomp B mode, but that takes away 2 options for something else).

thanks.
