Melodioso
I cannot update the Helix Stadium XL to 1.3.2 and get the following error messages: Wi-Fi: Code -103 USB: Response -4 Line 6 Central: UPDATE FAILED at 0% Are there any workarounds? Thanks.
silverhead
Have you tried updating on the device itself, not using Central or the app?
Melodioso
Yes, tried via: Wi-Fi USB Line 6 Central Screenshots below:
Melodioso
I did a full restore (by holding Home & Song button while powering). Same issue. Hopefully this post will be helpful for other people with the same problem.
Melodioso
It appears that the issue is caused by the download not reaching 100%. It stops before completion and then proceeds with the incomplete downloaded update. Is it possible to update via a file directly?
Melodioso
Indeed, I finally found out where the file is downloaded using the Line 6 Central app: the file is not complete and the size always varies (17MB, then 54MB, ...). Can someone share the SWU file for 1.3.2 ? I opened a ticket but the support is not useful unfortunately.
Melodioso
[Fixed] Root cause was server issue with Line 6.
Melodioso
Still; I believe that a simple file download would be the easiest to perform a firmware update. Multiple log outs on the device + Wi-Fi that is forgotten + reboot is making what should be a basic process such a hassle. Please take into account the UX. bverdon
at the very least... better error code that tells you the file is either corrupt or incomplete. At least they provide an MD5 Sum of the file so you can compare it beforehand.
