NoCoolUserName
Got a Variax 700 acoustic that goes silent sometimes. Seems like it might be the output jack (cleaning it helped some) and sometimes the plug comes out of the jack just a bit (doesn't fall out, just like 0.1 inch). If it were a standard jack, I'd just tweak the contact with a pair of needle-nose pliers...but it's not. It's a six-pin in a box sort of thing. I'd like to try replacing it, but I can't find one that looks the same. My questions: 1) can I get a replacement jack? 2) is there any other suggestions as to how to make the connection more firm? psarkissian
- Line 6 authorized service center for jack plate and installation. - If you are not using a VDI cable with the Canon shell,... get one, so that the connection is good. Once the pins in the mod jack get bent, replacement is needed.
