Question on powering Stadium XL

Finally took the plunge and brought home an XL last night.  I see that the XL has one of those magnetic wraps that goes around the power cable as seen in my pic on the Left.  With my LT i've been using a Y-splitter as seen in my pic on the Right, which allows me to simultaneously supply power to my sub-board with my H90 and a couple other pedals on it with one single power cable.

could i simply take the magnetic wrap (i don't know what its called!) and put it on the portion of my Y-cable that plugs into the Stadium?  I don't know how sensitive a thing this is, and perhaps i'm being paranoid, but whereas i just got the Stadium i don't want to risk messing anything up or potentially damaging the unit.

The “magnetic wrap” was included as a precaution for all kinds of crazy things they might choose to do in the future via the D10 expander.
they have confirmed that it’s not required at this time (and probably will never be for most users)
