MojoAxe
This is not something that I want to do presently, but I’m just wondering if it’s possible to do in the event that a future firmware update has a bug that’s serious enough that I would want to revert back to the previous version. Traditionally, the firmware is downloaded manually to a PC and then installed into the modeler. With the Stadium, there is no downloaded firmware to save to a PC. I assume that I could restore a backup file from a system backup, however that would also restore the presets to back to the date of the backup. Again, this is not something I need to do, but I just want to be prepared in case there’s a bug in a new release gives me a reason to stick with the previous version until it gets fixed. silverhead
Stadium operates differently re: firmware downloads. You need to use the Line 6 Central app to view and install older Stadium firmware versions.

At the present time, you cannot download Stadium firmware to a PC and then upload it to the Stadium unit. The only way to load firmware is directly from the unit itself via WiFi. If you select "Downloads" from the main menu on the unit, it tells you that you're "Up to date", and it does not give you an option to revert to an older version. I believe that the only way to revert to an older version of firmware might be to restore from a full backup (and I'm not even sure if that will do it). Its highly unlikely, but conceivable that a new firmware release has a significant bug in it. I was just pondering whether or not its possible to go back to a previous version until such bug has been fixed.
