I performed the update through Line 6 Central , (line6 monkey did not recognised with my windows 11 computer), which correctly recognized my guitar and its model. Unfortunatelly, i can't retreive error message but it spoke about factory and preset. Variax interface is still recognised and i tried with old computer under windows 10, live 6 monkey recognised usb interface and both leds are green no sound from my guitar :( Thank you for you help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You may need to use a computer with an earlier OS, or current OS with a Way back Machine software simulator. Original Workbench on the downloads page will have that info. Do you think,windows 7 will be able to recognised the guitar and restore factory ? Better to use monkey ? I heard,version 1.7 and earlier may be suitable for compatibility ? Dark-Star Posted October 7 Share Posted October 7 Yes,... if running locally on your desktop, as the Line 6 servers are no longer connected for the more legacy software. Been like that more and more since Apple and Microsoft left 32 bit processing for 64 bit running system OS's. I've had success connecting to legacy apps and firmware and running them on Mac 10.6.8 OS. Not certain what the equivalent PC OS is. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
