silverhead
What is the FS Mode of the device? ABCD or FS5-8? EDIT: After reviewing the video further I don't think there's any explanation for that behaviour even if FS Mode - FS5-8. I agree with TheRealZap. Ticket time. stumblinman
Seem to be a few threads about this problem lately. Mostly on the 500x as opposed to the 500. Maybe these "improved switches" aren't that good.
silverhead
Seem to be a few threads about this problem lately. Mostly on the 500x as opposed to the 500. ... Can you please post links to the other threads? I haven't noticed them. I will highlight these to Line 6, and encourage the OPs to open support tickets to help Line 6 investigate if there's a general problem here.
guilhordas
but I have noticed that it is not only the footswitches, models of jtv also keep changing wildly , I tested also disconnecting the VDI cable pod but the problem continues. There is no other way but open the pod and see if something was damaged on hardware
silverhead
....There is no other way but open the pod and see if something was damaged on hardware I recommend you don't do that if the Pod is still under warranty. Open a support ticket and work with Line 6 to get this resolved.

stumblinman
I've commented on a few with these "sticky switches" in the last few months. I'm not going to link to them, as I don't know how on my phone and copy/paste seems to be blocked? If one was so inclined, one could probably look through my posting history and find them. Since I don't have a 500x, this is merely speculation based on symptoms users have mentioned, and looking at the video posted it sure seems that way. Even the sound of FS1 is different when pressed. Edit! Did some digging. My other posts were in regards to original 500's, not X. Can you please post links to the other threads? I haven't noticed them. I will highlight these to Line 6, and encourage the OPs to open support tickets to help Line 6 investigate if there's a general problem here.
