BlueViolince
Has anyone tried it live with Amplitube or Guitar Rig?
BlueViolince
And would I be able to send MIDI commands over USB when changing patches?

BlueViolince
What kind of setup? And what kind of latency are you getting?
radatats
I just used the USB connection. Frankly I was less than impressed. Much prefer POD by itself live.
BlueViolince
Yeah, I tried it out, and I ended up going back to Ableton set up for post-Pod to get my multi-band comp. Works better than the Firebox in the fx loop(which is what I was doing before), no noticeable latency. I may keep Amplitube in an aux channel if I want to throw more delays on, for whatever reason. Rewolf48
And would I be able to send MIDI commands over USB when changing patches? No. Unless something has changed the HD doesn't support MIDI over USB. Your Computer might see a MIDI device for the Pod HD, but it can't do anything with it. If you want to send MIDI messages you have to connect the MIDI ports on the HD to the Computer using some other MIDI interface.
