silverhead
l6t filetypes are not compatible with the Pod HD series. There is no converter to make these older files compatible. To find compatible files use Customtone and select Pod HD500 as the device.

Charlie_Watt
I think l6t are HD500x tones. h5e are HD500 tones. You should be able to use both though.
radatats
for some reason you will occasionally get tones for the 500 or 500X as .l6t. You can try just renaming them with the appropriate tail (h5e for 500) and see if HD Edit will load them. Do this with your HD Edit offline, disconnected from the POD, as you may get corrupted patches this way. If the patch loads, make sure you go through each tab and see that it is set up right. Save the patch to your computer and then reopen it from the computer. You should now have no issue sending it to the POD. If they won't load at all they are not compatible. Be advised that most .l6t tones will not work with 500(X) as was mentioned above. They were most likely made for a different Line 6 product.
