ddh22552
I've got some burstbuckers and some 57s I was thinking about putting in my jtv-59, has anybody switched pickups or is it even possible?
ricstudioc
Planning to but haven't yet (on a 69) - it's definitely possible, do a bit of digging around here and you'll find some posts and as I recall some photos of the circuit boards and such. I'm a medium techy kinda guy and what I found reassured me that I could do it without any problems.

See my post, it's about my experience replacing the stock pickups in 89F.

israz99
Do you have a link? http://line6.com/support/topic/6899-jtv-pickups-wire-colors/ If put a SD distortion in the bridge and in the future I will also change the neck pickup. The change is worth the effort, the guitar has a good tone but the stock pickups are just bad, now it souds great for metal.
