adessmith
When you start combining Line 6 guitars with the amp modeling, it seems like the PERFECT platform for sharing custom patches.Every guitar is different, so a lot of times you download patches which sound good on someone else's rig, and you don't hear what they heard. With the HD500, and the JTV linked with a VDI cable, you should hear almost exactly the patch "as it was created". Of course there will be differences in the speakers or headphones connected, but for the most part it should be very close. Add a DT series amp with the line 6 link, and you have a complete cloned setup from one user to the next. Am I missing something, or is there no section in customtone for "dream-rig" patches, or at least POD/Varaix patches? This seems like a glaring oversight.I use a Variax, and I'm about to get an HD500. I would like to take advantage of other peoples work as a "jumping off" point, to get some pretty good patches out the gate.
TheRealZap
No dedicated area of custom tone, they are all mixed in. would be nice if they were easier to spot. 1
gchaddock1972
One thing that sucks about PodHD customtone is you can't even share what guitar or pickups you're using like you could with older products. You can't share the guitarist you're going for band, song, style nothing just the patch.

Artgiver
Jake E Lee! You didn't find it of course, correct?? That was the guitarist patch i was wanting when i first even heard of the hd500. He gets SUCH a good sound on the Bark At The Moon album, doesn't he?!
