franco999
Hi Everyone, Im thinking of purchasing a Pocket POD for mobile use. Apart from all the cool things witch the Pocked POD is capable of, Im interested in one key-feature: Can I somehow transfer preset sounds from my POD Farm 2.5 Platinum into the Pocket POD, or the "Vyzex"-Software whitch comes with the Pocket POD? Thanks for your answers and greetings from germany! franco
BillBee
Hey there - I have a pocket pod and while it is pretty nice and portable you have to stick with the Vyzex software and AFAIK you will have to try and recreate the PF2 tones for it - I say try as amps/models are huge in PF not so in the PP. You can go the L6 Custom Tone and DL alot of patches though.
franco999
Hi BillBee Thanks for your answer. Is there any other LINE 6 mobile device that enables me to take Sounds from PF2 with me? - for example live on Stage or for rehersal with my band? thx

TheRealZap
*MOVED POST TO MORE CORRECT FORUM* the answer is yes* you can use pod farm tones with a pod XT or X3 *within certain limitations of the hardware platform.... examples: XT single tone only XT/X3 rigid effects chain XT/X3 single effect from each category... (per tone) in other words.... they really line up with pod farm 1.x rather than 2.x but the same models exist within the platforms.
brue58ski
You cannot use Pod Farm tones on the Pocket Pod. The Pocket Pod amps are based on the vey first POD bean, often referred to as POD 2.0.
